Most Delicious Winter Chili Recipe!

With the winter months among us having a delicious homemade chili is the perfect meal for my little family.  After trying our several recipes throughout the years I finally perfected what I think is the best chili out there!  I must mention that my husband dislikes any form of chili but after trying mine he is hooked and is always ready for a second bowl.  I hope you enjoy my super easy and fast recipe as much as my family does and remember you can always make a few tweaks if need be.  

This is my kind of chili because as a working mommy I don’t have time to waste, your chili will be ready in less than 1.5 hours!

   Chili Recipe: 

Chili Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds of ground beef
  • 1 large diced onion
  • 3 garlic clove minced
  • 2 cans of Kidney beans (15 or 16oz each)
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes (28oz)
  • 1 can of tomato paste (6oz)
  • 1 large spoonful of canned sliced jalapeños with juice, dice them
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 2 tablespoons of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon of Truvia or Sugar
  • 1 cup of beer 

Steps:

Helping mommy with the spices. 

First, grab a large pot and cook the ground beef.  Once that is thoroughly cooked DO NOT drain and add onions, garlic and spices.  Cook for the next 5 minutes.

After that has cooked for a bit add, the kidney beans with juice, diced tomatoes with juice, tomato paste, diced jalapeños & juice, sugar and the beer!

Let all of this cook on low heat for the next 30 minutes, stir and then…Voila dinner is served!! 

Delicious Chili!

You can add any toppings you’d like.  My family prefers shredded sharp cheddar and sour cream!  I also make sweet cornbread with diced fresh jalapeños for a little kick.  This recipe can serve 4 to 6 people comfortably.  Enjoy!
